Official start date: August 17, 2026

End date: November 1, 2026.  

Must be available to start coaching at 3:30 PM. Responsibilities include attendance at all practices and meets (during the week and Saturdays). Help at our Mon/Wed summer Cross-Country camp in June and July is also needed/preferred.

Assistant coaches will work closely with the head coach in following team protocol, helping organize practice, providing  input on workouts/training plans, attending races, managing transportation, and any other duties as seen fit. Experience in coaching distance running and participating in cross-country/track in high school or at the collegiate level is preferred but not required.  

Selection Procedure:  Position is open only to WEA employees through 6/8/26. If no internal candidates are selected, external candidates will be considered.  Position will remain open until filled.

This position is not benefit eligible.  Stipend range is $100 - $9,168.
