Peer Support Advocate - Part Time - Crisis Services - Windsor/Windham Counties

HCRS is seeking part time Peer Support Advocates to join our team. PSA's respond, with a crisis intervention specialist, to individuals who are requesting support when they are in a crisis related to emotional distress or substance use. The PSA provides direct support, helps community members in understanding and exercising their rights while receiving mobile crisis services, and helps the team maintain a rights-centered non-coercive approach. Our ideal candidate will have excellent relational and communication skills, will have relevant lived experience, and have personal or professional experience supporting people in crisis. Training in Intentional Peer Support, restorative/transformative justice, de-escalation, harm reduction is preferred. The pay for this position is $23-$25 per hour.
