About the role

Financial Controller - Corporate Consolidation leads consolidation, analysis, and reporting for the Corporate and Unallocated (COU) segment, delivering accurate and timely financial insights to the COU Director and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Consolidate and analyse MTD, QTD and YTD financial results for the Corporate and Unallocated (CoU) segment versus Plan, Forecast and Prior Year.

  • Own preparation and coordination of financial commentaries, ensuring accuracy, consistency and alignment with Group standards.

  • Present consolidated performance, risks and insights to senior stakeholders, including Corporate Consolidation team.

  • Lead and support planning, forecasting and budget cycles for COU functions, including challenge and sense‑checking of assumptions.

  • Perform high‑level review and challenge of planned and forecasted numbers to ensure robustness and credibility.

  • Review and challenge Balance Sheet movements and open items, Working Capital, headcount, provisions and accruals, Capex and AUC.

  • Conduct periodic deep‑dive analysis of balances, including allocation accuracy, slow‑moving items and other Balance Sheet open positions.

  • Ensure compliance with corporate reporting timelines, SOX controls and internal finance policies.

  • Partner with market owners and the Group, acting as a trusted finance advisor and providing forward‑looking insight.

  • Drive continuous improvement of accounting processes across the segment, controlling, planning and reporting processes and support ad‑hoc initiatives as required.

Role Requirements

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).

  • 10+ years post‑qualification experience in Financial Controlling, FP&A and/or Audit within a complex, global organisation.

  • Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail and ability to operate at strategic level.

  • Strong experience in planning, forecasting and performance management.

  • Solid understanding of R2R end‑to‑end processes and finance systems (SAP FI, SAP FC, BI tools).

  • Experience operating in a SOX / controlled environment.

  • Proven ability to engage with and challenge senior stakeholders (Finance Directors, VPs, Global Function leaders).

  • Strong communication, organization and problem‑solving skills, with a proactive and collaborative mindset.
