The base (London)
Our London office is the hub of Cazenove Capital. From here, we support private clients, families, trusts and charities with tailored wealth management and financial planning solutions, drawing on the wider Schroders group and our in-house investment expertise.
The team
We are one of the largest UK-based wealth management firms, headquartered in London with offices around the country. We help private clients, families, charities and some institutions meet their long-term goals by offering expertise across investment, wealth planning, lending and family office services.

What you’ll do
• Work as part of a team assisting Wealth Planners in managing clients’ planning needs and solutions.
• Support the end-to-end advice process, from initial fact find through to suitability report production and implementation.
• Be an additional point of contact when the Wealth Planners are not available and develop relationships of trust with clients.
• Attend client meetings with the Wealth Planner (where appropriate) to broaden your understanding of the advisory process and strengthen client relationships.
• Take responsibility for drafting high-quality suitability documentation, including client “reason-why” letters and reports, in a timely manner.
• Assist Wealth Planners in researching planning options and solutions for clients (e.g. pensions, protection, investments, tax wrappers, trusts where appropriate).
• Prepare and collate client documentation and information required for advice, annual reviews and recommendations.
• Handle administrative duties promptly, including new client take-on forms, preparation of advisory correspondence/annual reviews and assisting with proposal preparation.
• React to all client-related enquiries in a timely manner and maintain a record of responses.
• Liaise with product providers/insurers/platforms as required to obtain client policy information, illustrations and product information.
• Check that new business and client files are compliant and in line with Cazenove Capital procedures and FCA requirements.
• Work closely with the Wealth Planning support team and delegate/coordinate administrative work as required.
• Maintain and update your knowledge through continual professional development (CPD) and examinations, where suitable.

The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• A keen interest in, and good understanding of, wealth management and financial planning.
• Experience working within financial services, ideally within a wealth management firm or financial advisory practice with an HNW client base.
• Progress towards, or holding, an FCA Level 4 RDR compliant qualification in financial planning (or equivalent).
The knowledge, experience and qualifications that will help
• Familiarity with the fund management, professional advisory, IFA or life company industry.
• Good understanding of Intelliflo Office and The Exchange.
• Experience drafting suitability reports and supporting regulated advice processes.
