YOUR FUTURE CONTRIBUTION In this context, you will join the Software Category Management department within Group Procurement
Reporting to the Software Category Executive Manager, your main missions will be to: Contribute to proactively managing the contract lifecycle, Participate in the negotiation/renewal of certain contracts with major software publishers (SAP, Salesforce, IBM, Oracle): gathering needs, developing a Demand Plan, thinking about "Deal Principles," coordinating various stakeholders, and negotiating with publishers
Support the organization of the Software Procurement community, which includes various AXA buyers from around the world, Support the implementation of an Offshore Software Procurement Mid Office for tail spend, Update supplier segmentation in conjunction with product managers and buyers, Take part, within a multi-disciplinary team, in managing risks (compliance, personal data protection, information security, operational resilience, etc.) related to the category's purchases, Participate in and/or lead consultations (RFI, RFP) for the category. ...You will develop : Your negotiation skills in a complex and challenging market, with multi-disciplinary stakeholders (lawyers, sales reps, SMEs, etc.), Your ability to communicate with all internal and external stakeholders (major IT suppliers) in the international context of a large group, Your understanding and knowledge of the IT market, and more specifically of software publishers (licensing models, commercial and contractual practices, etc.), Your skills in analysis, synthesis, and reporting of information within the procurement function (drafting calls for tenders, analyzing offers, negotiation, presenting recommendations, etc.)
YOUR BACKGROUND ...You enjoy : The world of technology (Software, Cloud, Data, etc.), Working in a challenging environment, Being a central player in the procurement process, transverse to different business lines and internal functions, Negotiating in a complex and difficult environment (software publishers in oligopolistic or monopolistic situations)
Education : Engineering school, business school, or University, with a Master's level (Bac+5 or Bac+6) procurement degree
Target school(s): MAI Kedge BS, DESMA Grenoble EM, GAI ESSEC, and other 2nd or 3rd cycle procurement programs
Specialization: Procurement
Ideal work-study schedule: 3 weeks at the company / 1 week at school per month
Behavioral skills / Soft skills: Strong interpersonal skills, Stress management, Mental agility, Ability to synthesize
Technical skills / Hard skills: Commercial and legal negotiations, Knowledge of and appetite for the IT field (Software, Cloud Computing, etc.), Finance and licensing models of IT suppliers (especially software publishers), Knowledge of legal fundamentals and contract law on software issues (intellectual property, usage, licensing, liability, etc.)
Languages: Fluent in English and French (all documents will be drafted in English, and communications with internal and external stakeholders will be predominantly in English)
