Financial Counselor

The Financial Counselor will be responsible for leading the Rockaway Village Financial Counseling Program based at the Far Rockaway Opportunity Center. They will host monthly financial literacy workshops, conduct outreach, and hold one-on-one sessions to help residents living in affordable housing who are struggling with finances and in severe debt. The Financial Counselor will be required to work occasional evenings and weekends, with regular work hours Monday – Friday, 10am-6pm. This position is available for a one-year period, with a potential extension depending on grant funds.
