What You Can Expect:
- Analyze warehouse and logistics costs, including labor, transportation, inventory, and overhead
- Build and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and longer-term planning
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, highlighting key trends and performance drivers
- Perform variance analysis against budget and forecast, providing clear explanations and recommendations
- Track and report on operational KPIs such as cost per unit, throughput, labor productivity, and inventory turn
- Partner with warehouse and operations leaders to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements
- Support analysis for equipment, automation, and facility-related investments
- Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and audit support
- Support inventory-related analysis, including valuation, reconciliation, and shrink tracking
- Provide ad hoc analysis to support operational initiatives and strategic decision-making
- Ensure accuracy of financial data and adherence to internal controls and company policies
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
- 2–5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within logistics, supply chain, or operations-focused environments
- Strong Excel skills, including financial modeling, pivot tables, and data analysis
- Experience working with large data sets and translating findings into clear, actionable insights
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively with non-finance stakeholders
- Experience in warehouse, distribution, or supply chain environments is preferred
- Familiarity with ERP systems, WMS platforms, or logistics reporting tools is preferred
- Working knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management principles
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools is an asset
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, with a high attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, operational environment
