Join a Med‑Surg Ortho unit where teamwork is our greatest strength and patient education is at the heart of what we do!The Medical Surgical Orthopedic Registered Nurse (RN) at United Health Services (UHS) provides patient-centered nursing care to individuals recovering from orthopedic surgery, injury, and medical-surgical conditions. Guided by UHS values of Trust, Compassion, Respect, Teamwork, and Innovation, the Med Surg Ortho RN supports patients through all phases of care, with a focus on mobility, pain management, safety, and recovery.

Primary Department, Division, or Unit:
Memorial 6 Med-Surg Orthopedics, UHS Binghamton General HospitalWork Shift and Schedule:
This is a per diem position, which means you will work on an as needed, agreed upon basis. Working hours will be assigned by your manager.
Compensation Range:
$40.70 - $61.05 per hour, depending on experienceThis position is not eligible for benefits.

Sign-on Bonus Incentive:
Experienced candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $25,000.
Education/Experience
Minimum Required:
- A graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
Preferred:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing
- Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting
License/Certification
Minimum Required:
- Current NYS RN License
Preferred:
- Professional certification in a related nursing specialty
- Relevant skills certification (i.e., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) as required by home unit assigned.
