Key Responsibilities
- Providing comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the Practice Group Leader, partners and associates in the Employment Practice Group and wider Commercial team.
- Comprehensive email and diary management
- Manage AML requirements for client onboarding, ensuring all procedures are followed.
- Management of billing process to include time entry, invoicing, client account balances and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Managing audit/accrual requests for clients.
- Maintain electronic files, ensuring all records are up to date and easily accessible.
- Production, editing and formatting of legal documents and templates.
- Digital dictation.
- Co-ordinating travel arrangements, meetings and itineraries.
- Processing expenses.
- Maintaining and updating client database.
- Ad-hoc duties as required.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- 4+ years’ experience as a Legal Secretary PA/EA.
- Commercial experience beneficial but not essential.
- In-depth experience with Client Billing/Payments systems.
- Excellent IT Skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power point.
- High degree of attention to detail.
- Typing skills of at least 70 words per minute.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise workload.
- Team player, who can also work on their own initiative.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
