Job Description
The Inpatient RN Supervisor oversees day-to-day operations and serves as the team lead within the Medical Surgical and Obstetrics Departments. The RN Supervisor would coordinate, assign and guide the work activities of other RN staff. The RNs Supervisor would maintain department scheduling and staffing, lead nursing practice oversight, and work alongside of nursing education to train and mentor new staff. They would work as a leader that directly support patient care as it relates to best practices for the nursing teams and patients, establishes goals and strategies for meeting care coordination needs across all stake holders considering factors related to safety, effectiveness and fiscal accountability in planning and delivering care and participates in quality improvement initiatives.
