Machinist

The Machinist is an advanced-level position responsible for performing jobs involving servicing and repair of equipment, working both independently and on a team.  Examples of the types of operations the candidate must be able to perform include boring, facing, milling, tapping, burning, and welding.  The candidate must be able to operate portable line boring, numeric control, computer numeric control, mill, and lathe machines.  Extensive on the job training, classroom instruction, and e-learning must be successfully completed as required.
