At minimum Manufacturing experience with prior experience with precision inspection equipment including, but not limited to, micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges
One year Machine Tool Operation certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
The ideal candidate can work with mathematical concepts such as fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
The ideal candidate has experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines or CNC lathes in a manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate has knowledge of CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code) and CAM programming software for toolpath creation.
The ideal candidate has familiarity with blueprint reading, GD&T standards, and mechanical drawings.
The ideal candidate has ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines confidently.
The ideal candidate will demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and lean manufacturing practices within a fast-paced production setting.
