Job Description
$750 Sign on Bonus. Bison Drivers are paid every week, on time! This position requires you to be on the road 7 to 14 days at a time. Resets on the road as required.
- Running open-board, Canada/U.S. long-haul
- Southbound freight could depart from any of our Bison locations into any of the lower 48 states
- Northbound freight could go into any of the Canadian Provinces and Territories
- Required to drive in B.C. including Highway 1 and Highway 3, 12 months a year
- Assigned unit requires 24 days on the road per month and averaging 10,000 to 12,000 miles per month (regional freight will be required)
- Flexible schedule requiring weekend departures
- Must be able to haul all commodities including meat and alcohol
- Assigned unit
Candidate Profile:
- Company Driver with 24 months tractor-trailer experience
- Must have a valid Class 1/AZ license
- Must be U.S. qualified
- Must be able to work weekends
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more, Driver assist is required on occasion
- Reliable, flexible, and punctual
- Strong communication skills
- Values safety
