Job Description
Youth Advocate Programs has developed a flexible Truancy Intervention Program tailored to the needs of urban, suburban, and rural schools. We serve youth facing the most complex challenges, including court-involved juveniles, special needs students, and those living in low-income housing. Our goal is to re-engage students at high risk of school failure through compassionate advocacy and personalized support.
Our population includes students who may be:
- At risk of expulsion or suspension
- Failing due to challenges at home
- Struggling with behavioral issues
- Returning from juvenile detention
- Chronically truant
- Experiencing school phobia or bullying
- Involved in substance abuse
- Emotionally or developmentally challenged
