Facilities Maintenance Mechanic 1

We are hiring a: Maintenance Mechanic   Columbia, MO   In this role, you will provide skilled general maintenance for machines, building, and property, working with the help and oversight of more advanced mechanics as you build your skills. You'll troubleshoot and repair simple machinery, perform preventative maintenance, and fabricate and repair equipment and facilities while learning to follow standard work and Watlow Business System practices. What You'll Do: Plumbing: Perform limited repair and installation of pipes and plumbing that carry gas, water, air, or miscellaneous hydraulic oils. Electrical Wiring: Perform limited repair and installation of electrical wiring in the facility for high and low voltage, including computer and phone lines. Electrical Troubleshooting: Perform limited electrical troubleshooting, repair, and installation of motor controls, fuses, circuit breakers, and similar components. Machinery Repair: Troubleshoot, repair, and install simple machinery using air, hydraulics, motors, bearings, and related systems. Fabrication: Fabricate production equipment, fixtures, support frames, benches, and shelving. Preventative Maintenance: Schedule and perform preventative maintenance, following established procedures. Facilities Upkeep: Repair and improve facility buildings, grounds, and equipment. What you´ll need to succeed? High school graduate/GED preferred 0-3 years of related experience   Preferred Qualifications: Trade jobs: two-year degree, technical certificate, or related experience (1-3 years) preferred
