Job Description
Mission:
Collaborate and provide support on projects carried out by his/her unit/department, in keeping with the guidelines given by his/her supervisor, performing the tasks delegated to him/her and satisfying the needs of the internal client.
Sub-function responsible for administering or carrying out work on the organisation’s general financial accounting tasks, which include: Recording standards for financial transactions; control of accounts and records; cost / budget accounting; accounting reports / timelines (management reports, compliance reports); this may include administrative support work for accounting such as updating the general ledger and data entry.
Required Skills and Competencies
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field
Experience
3–5 years of experience in general financial accounting
Key Experience
Journal entries and general ledger (GL) management
Month-end and year-end closing
Account reconciliations
Financial and management reporting
Budget tracking / cost accounting
Invoicing
Tools
ERP systems (SAP)
Advanced Excel
