Summer Activity Camp: Ceramics / Art Instructor (Magnolia Community Center)
Associated Recreation Council (ARC), in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, is seeking a qualified Activity Camp Instructor – Ceramics / Art to lead youth art and ceramics camps at Magnolia.
These camps serve youth ages 6–12.
Council: 150 – Magnolia
Hourly Wage: $27.00–$29.50
Status: Part-time, Seasonal
Desired Start Date: June 22, 2026

9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

1:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Summer Activity Camp: Ceramics / Art Instructor Responsibilities:

Plan and lead safe, age-appropriate art and ceramics activities for youth ages 6–12

Instruct basic ceramics techniques and creative art projects

Supervise participants and maintain a positive and inclusive camp environment

Set up and clean up classroom spaces, tools, and materials

Communicate effectively with ARC staff and site supervisors

Follow ARC and Seattle Parks and Recreation policies and procedures
Summer Activity Camp: Ceramics / Art Instructor Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older

Experience teaching art and/or ceramics in a recreational, educational, or community setting

Experience working with children ages 6–12

Ability to manage groups in a positive and supportive manner
