Summer Activity Camp: STEM Instructor (Magnolia Community Center)
Associated Recreation Council (ARC), in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, is seeking a qualified Activity Camp Instructor – STEM to lead youth STEM camps at Magnolia.
These camps serve youth ages 6–12.
Council: 150 – Magnolia
Hourly Wage: $25.00–$27.50
Status: Part-time, Seasonal
Desired Start Date: June 22, 2026

Monday – Friday

Shifts available:

9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

1:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Summer Activity Camp: STEM Instructor Responsibilities:
-
Plan and lead safe, age-appropriate STEM activities for youth ages 6–12

Facilitate hands-on projects in science, technology, engineering, and math

Encourage curiosity, problem-solving, and teamwork

Supervise participants and maintain a positive and inclusive camp environment

Set up and clean up activity areas and materials

Communicate effectively with ARC staff and site supervisors

Follow ARC and Seattle Parks and Recreation policies and procedures
Summer Activity Camp: STEM Instructor Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older

Experience teaching or leading STEM activities in a camp, school, or community setting

Experience working with children ages 6–12

Ability to manage groups in a positive and supportive manner
