Mechanic

Description

• A mechanic is responsible for preventive maintenance and repairs to commercial and industrial vehicles and equipment. This includes gasoline and diesel type vehicles and equipment. Some of the responsibilities are:
• Perform repairs and assigned preventative maintenance services
• Perform inspection, diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment
• Automotive repair
• Light and heavy diesel automobile repairs
• Review, complete or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Move company equipment safely on yard as needed
• Perform service calls for emergency breakdowns
• Assist with general warehouse and shop/yard duties
  

Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:

• ASE Certified (preferred but not required)
• Class A or B CDL (preferred but not required)
• works well with a team
• is a hard worker
• is reliable
• is mechanically inclined
• has diesel experience (not required)
• has their own tools
