Responsibilities

  • Acquisitions of operating properties

o Lead technical due diligence (TDD) to support Investment & Asset Management team (IAM)

o Work closely with TDD consultants to ensure schedule and information needed for closing

o Conduct feasibility study for potential conversion working closely with HQ Global Design & Planning (GDAP) team

  • Development

o Lead pre-construction TDD to support IAM

o Working closely with HQ GDAP, Legal, seller’s consultants to ensure qualities and to understand risks

o During construction, lead project monitoring, working closely with HQ GDAP team and external consultant to advise IAM on budget distribution & tracking, construction & delivery progress until full handover

  • General

o Develop and maintain a master list of projects under development/renovation, prepare and provide periodic update to senior management

o Drive and support the strategic initiatives, design studies, guideline updates etc

o Provide technical services advisory support for US projects

Requirements

  • Degree in Architecture

  • At least 5-10 years’ working experience in project management, building assessments, construction management for US lodging/hospitality development projects

  • Independent self-starter who is resourceful, proactive and an analytical problem solver

  • Team player with excellent interpersonal, communications and stakeholder-management skills

  • Ability to travel when required
