Technician Shop Apprentice

Bob Johnson Auto Group is looking for motivated Automotive Technician Apprentices to join our team at both of our collision shop locations. This is a great opportunity for a C-Level Technician who is looking to grow their skills, work alongside an experienced A-Level Technician, and build a solid foundation for a long-term career in the automotive industry.

The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of vehicles, a strong willingness to learn, and a positive attitude. This position is designed for someone who wants hands-on experience, guidance from skilled technicians, and the chance to continue developing in a supportive shop environment.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting experienced technicians with vehicle repairs and teardown
Learning proper repair procedures and shop processes
Disassembling vehicles as needed
Helping maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Following instructions and asking questions when needed
Building technical skills through hands-on training and mentorship

Experience disassembling vehicles is a definite plus, but we are willing to train the right person.

Qualifications:

Basic automotive knowledge
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Positive attitude and team-focused mindset
Ability to follow directions and work safely
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Previous shop or vehicle teardown experience preferred, but not required
