Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to improve equipment uptime and reduce unplanned downtime.
Conduct root cause failure analyses (RCFA) and lead defect elimination initiatives through Lean Six Sigma projects.
Oversee condition-based monitoring programs (e.g., vibration analysis, oil analysis) and annual inspections for rotating and structural dock equipment.
Identify, evaluate, and recommend capital projects for equipment upgrades or replacements to improve safety, reliability, and productivity.
Collaborate with Dock Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to plan and execute maintenance shutdowns and equipment overhauls.
Lead weekly and monthly operations meetings with all sites to understand operating performance and agree actions necessary to drive results.
Maintain and update CMMS (SAP) records, equipment hierarchies, and spare parts inventories.
Ensure compliance with OSHA maritime safety standards and U.S. Coast Guard regulations, support safety audits and inspections.
Support Management of Change (MOC) processes for dock equipment modifications or new installations.
Provide technical support for troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and structural issues on dock equipment.
Contribute to the development of dock reliability KPIs and dashboards.
