Position Description
This position is responsible for trade execution across cash equities, overseas stock markets (including US), Hong Kong futures, and global futures/options. The dealer will coordinate closely with the sales trader team and operations to deliver precise and timely trades that optimize client and proprietary outcomes. This position demands strong market knowledge, fast execution capability, and strict compliance with risk limits. The ideal candidate will also require participation in shift and holiday time-off duties to ensure continuous market coverage, with schedules arranged by the team head.

Key Areas of Responsibilities
Execute buy/sell orders for cash equities across local and overseas markets (US, Asia, Europe)
Manage HKEX-listed futures and options, as well as other global futures & options products trading
Ensure all trades meet regulatory requirements, position limits, and client instructions
Adhere to regulator exchange rules (HKEX, CME, ICE, NYSE/NASDAQ) and internal compliance protocols
Monitor open positions and risk exposures in real-time; escalate breaches promptly
Provide execution and market coverage during public holidays when markets remain open as assigned
Maintain accurate trade blotters and input trades into order management systems
Assist in resolving trade settlements and reconciliations with back-office teams
Contribute to process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency in trade workflows
Requirements
Postgraduate degree holder in related discipline is highly preferred
SFC licensed person with Type 1 and 2 and familiar with local regulatory and compliance requirements
3-5 years relevant experience with solid understanding of derivatives pricing, margining, and risk exposure
Strong knowledge of US equity markets, HK futures, and global futures/options products
Proficiency in trading platforms (Bloomberg, Refinitiv, OMNet, Fidessa, or similar)
High level of numerical accuracy and attention to detail
Strong communication skills for interacting with counterparties and internal teams
Ability to work under fast-paced, high-pressure market conditions and across varied shifts
Awareness of international market regulations (SEC, HK SFC, CFTC)
Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
