Position Description
This position will play a critical role for the execution and origination of the ECM business in Japan
Key Areas of Responsibilities
Take a leading role in originating and executing ECM related deals
Identify and evaluate potential clients and business opportunities
Lead the financial, statistical, valuation analysis
Communicating and interacting with internal partners and product teams as well as with clients and other external parties
Coordinate corporate finance related matters with oversea offices
Provide quality control over team production
Review and supervise work prepared by junior members
Develop, implement, apply and train the junior bankers within the team and provide the guideline during day-to-day work
Requirements
Degree holder in Finance or related discipline(s)
Minimum of 6 years’ of experience in Japan ECM
Attained all necessary regulatory criteria for carrying out investment activities in Japan.
Knowledge and experience in corporates and capital markets products, transactions and processes
Good command of written and spoken Japanese and English
Good knowledge about global market and cultures
Excellent analytical, modelling, market research and quantitative skills
Self-motivated with good interpersonal, communications and presentation skills and can work under pressure
