What you can expect as a Shunt Driver: Excellent Wages Wage Increase after 3 Months Sunday to Thursday from 6:00pm to 3:00am  Every other Saturday from 6:00am to 3:00pm Company Paid Life Insurance, Health & Dental Benefits RRSP Company Match Employee Referral Program On the Job Training Uniforms Safety Shoe Allowance Clean and Safe Work Environment Continuous Skills Development Opportunities for Advancement   Responsibilities: Move trailers and containers to designated locations to support loading and unloading processes, follow established protocols and procedures for trailer movements, and complying with facility-specific rules. Operate shunt trucks or vehicles in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic rules and safety guidelines. Maintain clear communication with warehouse personnel, truck drivers, and other relevant stakeholders to coordinate trailer movements and ensure smooth operations. Perform routine inspections of shunt trucks to ensure it is in good working condition, reporting any issues or maintenance needs. Manage the organization of the yard or storage area, ensuring trailers are parked efficiently and access routes are clear. Other duties as assigned. Able to work independently with minimal supervision. Some yard maintenance and seasonal snow removal.   Education/Skills/Experience Required: 1 Year's Shunting/Truck Driving Experience. Valid G License with a clean CVOR, AZ License would be an asset. Previous Heavy Equipment operation would be an asset. 1 year forklift experience. Good understanding of health and safety guidelines and procedures. Able to crouch, bend and kneel, as well as capable of heavy lifting and carrying.   Pay Rate- $25.49 hourly with wage increase after 3 months
