Location: Elstree Diagnostic Treatment Centre, Beaufort house, Elstree Rd, Elstree, Borehamwood WD6 3BS.
Essential Requirement: you must be able to drive due to the location.
Flexible shifts to suit your lifestyle:
Weekday shifts available: 8:00am – 4:00pm, 12:00pm – 8:00pm, or 8:00am – 8:00pm
2 Saturdays per month (8:00am – 1:00pm)
Full-time hours: 37.5 hours per week

We’re looking for a Healthcare Assistant to join our welcoming and patient-focused team at HCA UK’s Elstree Diagnostic Treatment Centre, supporting a high-quality outpatient and diagnostic service.
As a Healthcare Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring patients receive safe, high-quality clinical care and an outstanding experience, supporting both clinical teams and patients throughout their pathway.
As a Healthcare Assistant in our outpatient and diagnostic unit, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care within a fast-paced and modern clinical environment. You’ll support a wide range of diagnostic and treatment services, undertaking delegated clinical duties such as monitoring vital signs, assisting with procedures including ECGs, venepuncture and cannulation, and contributing to patient flow through admissions and discharges. You’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patients are supported throughout their pathway, providing both clinical and emotional care, while maintaining a safe, efficient and welcoming environment that reflects HCA’s commitment to exceptional patient experience.

What you’ll bring:
Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant in a clinical or outpatient setting
Competency (or willingness to train) in clinical observations and basic procedures
Ideally experience with ECGs, venepuncture or cannulation
A strong commitment to patient-centred care and excellent customer service
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A proactive approach and ability to use your own initiative
