Job Overview:
The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment. Your primary responsibility will be to wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, and utensils.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand.
- Scrape food from dishes and sort items into appropriate categories.
- Load and unload dishwashing machines.
- Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area.
- Sweep and mop floors in the kitchen area.
- Take out trash and recycling.
- Assist with other kitchen tasks as needed, such as cleaning equipment or stocking supplies.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a hot, humid environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
