Job Description

This is a Part-Time on-call position. Delaware Resource group is searching for dedicated Flight Simulator Field Service Representatives to provide on-site support for flight simulator installation and modification to include disassembly, relocation, reassembly, and maintenance on various platforms located globally. This is a project-based position where flexibility and technical expertise are crucial. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver, able to handle complex technical challenges and ensure our simulators are operating at their best even after disassembly and relocation.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Candidate will be expected to deploy, maintain, and upgrade systems across the enterprise.
  • Candidate will provide on-site technical support, operational training of the system and assist in developing schedules and plans.
  • Candidate will be responsible for reading a Bill Of Materials (BOM), creating a packing and install checklist, or providing input to those checklists.
  • Candidate will be highly motivated and driven to deliver an exceptional product to the customer.
  • Candidate will be part of a high functioning team.
  • Candidate will be responsible for reading electrical and mechanical schematics and using those schematics to troubleshoot potential issues.
  • Candidate will represent DRG on site in a professional manner.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical discipline and 2+ years of experience
    or
  • 6+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • Knowledge of complete simulator systems to include:
    • Various visual systems and components
    • Various motion systems and their components
    • IOS operations
    • DORT operation
    • Various I/O Systems
    • Computing systems
  • Demonstrated experience with Windows, Redhat, and VMWare.
  • Extensive experience utilizing schematics to troubleshoot inoperative systems, particularly following a modification to a device.
  • Participation on a modification team.
  • Security +CE certification.
  • SECRET security clearance.
  • Travel is required.
