Job Description
Primary Responsibilities:
- Monitor industry trends and market movements to update on impactful events and assess their implications on the stocks under coverage.
- Perform detailed financial analysis and valuation of companies across various sub-sectors using a variety of methodologies including DCF, relative valuation, and precedent transactions.
- Develop and maintain financial models to forecast company earnings and financial performance.
- Collaborate with Lead Analyst to refine investment thesis and recommendations and produce well-structured equity research reports
- Participate in conference calls and meetings with company management and industry experts to gather in-depth understanding and insights.
- Support the team in responding to client queries regarding research findings and market developments.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in equity research. There is no sector or country preference.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modelling and Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise research reports.
- Knowledge of databases and tools such as Bloomberg, Reuters, FactSet and IQVIA is highly desirable.
- Educational qualification - MBA from a reputed institute or CA with good scores.
