POSITION OVERVIEW To provide a 5* level of service which exceeds all guest expectations by completing all treatments in a consistently thorough manner, in the time allocated and by treating all clients with individual attention in line with the Forum Spa/Ocius Treatment Rooms vision and strategy GENERAL Responsible for helping to maintain a guest -focused culture which support the values expressed in the CollectionAmbition and the Collection’s business goals of profitability and service quality. Establishes and maintain effective and positive relationships within the team as well as other departments. Complies with the Collection’s Health and safety, Hygiene policies as well as all other Collectionpolicies and procedures. Report all situations that may present a danger to guests or staff immediately to the relevant people and take action to rectify the situation if possible. To ensure that resources are used effectively, minimising waste to protect our environment and to reduce costs. To perform related duties and special assignments as and when required. Responsible for all stock and the care and control of all professional equipment within your working environment. Responsible for the cleanliness and presentation within your working environment in accordance with set standards. Participates in monthly audits and checks on all equipment to verify its location and ensure its full, safe operation. Responsible for escalating any complaints to the Department Manager immediately, providing full details. Responsible for performing the ultimate treatments in accordance with the standards expected and trained by the Treatment Manager and associated product suppliers. Responsible for all professional stock within their working environment, including stock levels required for the successful conduct of all treatments they provide. Responsible for the care and control of all professional equipment under their control, as well as respect and care for their working environment. Responsible for the cleanliness of the treatment room and its presentation for all treatments. Participates in monthly audits and checks on all equipment to verify its location and ensure its full, safe operation. Responsible for escalating any complaints to the Assistant Spa Manager/Spa Manager immediately, providing full details and suggesting appropriate action to the satisfaction of the Collectionand guest alike. Ensure up to date consultation and prescription cards are completed prior to and at the end of treatment time Ensure rooms are kept clean and tidy Monitor the status of equipment and notify a spa manager if there are any maintenance or repair needs Restock professional products in designated treatment rooms by completing the stock requisition form to ensure that rooms are fully always stocked Ensure effective liaison between spa therapists and receptionists Participate in on-going training programmes Continually strive to upgrade the quality of treatments you deliver through practise and receiving of feedback Promote events and promotions to all guests Responsible for achieving daily sales and monthly sales targets and overall contributing to the spa team target Act as a support to colleagues by performing other tasks as and when required Attend all meetings as and when required Adhere to specific spa grooming and hygiene guidelines Training Responsible for attending all required training as scheduled. PERSON SPECIFICATION Criteria Essential Desirable Qualifications Minimum entry level: VTCT NVQ Level 3 Beauty Therapy VTCT NVQ Level 3 Beauty Massage Elemis Trained Attainments/competencies (list as required) As included in the above qualification - Hot Stones Massage - Shellac/Jessica Nails - Leighton Denny Manicures Pedicures - LVL Lashes - HD Brows - Semi-Permanent Lashes - Advanced Waxing: Brazilian/Hollywood - Reflexology Previous experience Minimum 6 Months experience in a salon or spa environment 12-18 Months experience working in a large spa environment Experience required Minimum 6 Months experience in a salon or spa environment Previous experience working in a 5* luxury environment ie. Steiner Cruise Ships, Account Executive (within a large beauty retailer), 6+ treatment room spa Special aptitudes (e.g. oral or written skills, manual dexterity, etc.) Excellent communication skills, able to confidently speak with guests and colleagues Proven retail selling skills within a spa or salon environment Physical abilities, circumstances, but only if a justifiable requirement for the job To have the ability and stamina to perform a minimum of 8 hours’ worth of treatments per day Previous experience as a massage therapist
