You will be responsible for helping to maintain a guest-focused culture which supports The Celtic Collection values and business goals. You will assist the Executive Housekeeper in delivering the best cleanliness standards. OVERVIEW Responsible for servicing of guest bedrooms ensuring the highest level of cleanliness in departures and stayovers Clean all assigned rooms including making beds, removing of used linen, vacuuming ,dusting, bathroom cleaning, mopping floors and inside window cleaning. Making sure linen is free from marks and stains. Report all situations that may present a danger to people or to the business immediately to the relevant people and take action to rectify the situation if possible. 5. Ensure that resources are used effectively, minimising waste to protect our environment and to reduce costs. Perform related duties and special assignments as and when required. Carrying out guest requests Making sure rooms are prepared and ready for guest arrival Complies with all company health and safety policies as well as all other relevant policies and procedures. Carrying out deep cleaning Hoovering corridors Keeping cupboards tidy Stocking trolleys at the required standard at the end of shift JOB FUNCTIONS Guest To ensure that all brand standards and standard operating procedures are followed and that they are consistently adhered to To ensure that the product is delivered in accordance with the set standards, exceeding the internal and external guest expectations Achieve consistent results, in line with company requirements, in all guest evaluation audits and reports relating to the Housekeeping function. Focus on high standards of guest care and training in this area in line with key performance indicator targets Ensure all VIP and guest rooms are set with any specific requests before check in. Ensure that all Do Not Disturb rooms are reported and actioned on. Ensure that all trolleys are stocked according to established standards at all times. Ensure all equipment, tools and supplies are available and kept in good order Urgently respond to guest feedback in line with company procedures Constantly research ways of improving guest service Innovate new ideas to improve and evolve guest service and actively encourage the team to do so Ensure effective communication with guests and take ownership to resolve them doing whatever it takes to make the guest happy Communication in meetings to ensure the department has an open and honest policy within the department People Help the department with training and buddying up with any new starters Help new starters with any on boarding issues or help to find a solution. To be able to be flexible in their schedule to meet business needs Identify any training needs and liase with the Housekeeping manager for any extra support or with the Celtic Collection’s Learning Development team Ensure that all departmental training is completed in line with company standard requirements.
