
Assistant Manager- HARRISVILLE MAIN
Job Description
The position supports people with intellectual disabilities in their development of living and social skills, with the ultimate goals of gaining independence and community integration. The Assistant Manager Position assists the Program Manager with day to day duties associated with management of ICF/ID and CLA homes. The Assistant Manager Position is only utilized when an ICF/ID home has at least 8 beds or a CLA Program Manager supervises two or more homes. Assistant Managers must not work on the same shift, in the same location as Program Managers. Assistant Managers may work a maximum of 8 hours per two week cycle with the Program Manager. Unlike Program Managers, Assistant Managers’ duties must include direct support. This position must be included in staffing ratios listed in Individualized Service Plans. It is important to note that it is NOT the job function of the Assistant Manager to serve as a Program Manager for any home on a full time basis (barring unforeseen incapacitation of the Program Manager); but rather to assist the Manager in the day to day operations of multiple homes/people.
Qualifications
Valid PA driver’s license
High School Diploma or GED
Medication Administration Certificate
One year experience in Direct Support or equivalent
