We are seeking an experienced Recurring Revenue Management IT Business Analyst to design, architect, and continuously improve our enterprise subscription billing systems across Services, Software, and Hardware offerings. This strategic role requires a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and collaborative leadership to drive our subscription & services revenue transformation initiatives.

Requirements & Design
Gather and analyze business requirements for subscription/services billing processes and systems
Design functional specifications and technical architecture for enterprise subscription management solutions
Create detailed process flows, data models, and system integration designs
Define business rules and logic for subscription lifecycle management (provisioning, renewals, upgrades, cancellations)
Configuration & Implementation
Configure and customize subscription billing platforms to meet business requirements
Manage configuration changes across development, testing, and production environments
Design and implement pricing models, billing schedules, and revenue recognition rules
Develop integration specifications between billing systems and upstream/downstream applications (ERP, CRM, order management)
Testing & Quality Assurance
Develop comprehensive test strategies and test cases for subscription billing scenarios
Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) with business stakeholders
Validate data integrity, billing accuracy, and system performance
Troubleshoot issues and coordinate resolution with technical teams
Training & Deployment
Create training materials and documentation for end-users and support teams
Conduct training sessions for business users on new features and processes
Lead deployment activities and coordinate go-live support
Develop runbooks and knowledge base articles for operational support
Collaboration & Leadership
Partner closely with IT Value Squads on strategic subscription initiatives
Work with Support and Development teams on tactical enhancements and issue resolution
Serve as subject matter expert on subscription billing processes and systems
Facilitate cross-functional workshops and design sessions
Communicate project status, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders
Key Qualifications
For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and experiences to our team:
6-8 years of experience in IT business analysis, with focus on billing, subscription management, or revenue systems
Proven track record of implementing enterprise subscription billing solutions
Experience with full project lifecycle: requirements gathering through deployment
Strong background in enterprise IT systems integration
Technical Skills
Deep understanding of subscription business models and recurring revenue operations
Experience with subscription billing platforms (Zuora, Stripe Billing or Salesforce RCB or Right Rev Revenue Recognition application preferred)
Knowledge of billing processes: invoicing, payment processing, revenue recognition, collections
Familiarity with integration technologies (APIs, middleware, data mapping)
Understanding of data management principles and SQL basics
Business & Analytical Skills
Strong requirements elicitation and documentation capabilities
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications
Experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Agile)
Financial acumen related to revenue recognition and subscription metrics
Soft Skills
Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal)
Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Strong stakeholder management and influencing capabilities
Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple priorities
Detail-oriented with commitment to quality and accuracy
Education Preference
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
Accounting or Finance degree strongly preferred for revenue recognition expertise
Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, MBA, or MS in Information Systems is a plus
Relevant professional certifications highly valued
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SaaS or subscription-based business models
Certifications in relevant platforms (Zuora Certified, Salesforce CPQ, etc.)
Knowledge of revenue recognition standards (ASC 606, IFRS 15)
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Background in enterprise software, hardware, or IT services industries
Familiarity with order-to-cash processes
Experience with data analytics and reporting tools
