The function is located at the Air Liquide site in Kazakhstan, where H2, N2 and O2, are produced. The TAR preparator & planner is a part of Maintenance and Reliability Strategy team and works in collaboration with local site engineers, supported by Air Liquide experts.


Successful fulfillment of the role results in managing all constraints in relation to scheduled dates and target finish dates.

Main task of the TAR preparator is to prepare and update the work packages to be executed during the turnaround. TAR preparator is also involved in the turnaround scoping and supervises a part of the mechanical scope execution during the turnaround. In collaboration with the local procurement technician, TAR preparator contracts the suppliers to execute the works during the TAR.

TAR preparator reports to the Kazakhstan country TAR, Maintenance Strategy and Reliability Manager.


 

  • Developing and planning annual and multi year maintenance schedules.
  • Supporting sites in schedules, timelines, s-curves etc. related to plant planned stops, turnaround repairments (TARs).
  • Maintain the actual data in CMMS MAXIMO and others related to job plans, work orders, planned maintenance, assets etc.
  • Optimization the Contractors quantity, spare parts need, purchase requisitions and maintenance duration based on scope of works and schedules.
  • Support TAR in collaboration with internal departments: HSE, Purchase, production.
  • Filling the reports to upstream managements related to maintenance activity and planning.


 

Are you a MATCH? 


 

Experience 

  • At least 2 years of experience in a technical role in the refining, petrochemical or utilities industries,
  • deep understanding of assembly and disassembly of fixed equipment, piping and valves.
  • Experience on refractory works would be prefered

Education: 

  • required: High school diploma or equivalent 

  • Preferred: Bachelor of Science, construction management, engineering or engineering technology

Skills and requirements:

  •  Planning Software Proficiency: Experience with Excel, Google Sheets, MS Project, and the ability to work effectively with schedules and tables. Experience with MS Project or other planning software is considered an advantage.
  • Technical Knowledge: Basic technical understanding of industry equipment, including rotating machinery, piping, and vessels. A minimum of one year of technical experience as a advantage, preferably in the oil & gas industry, is acceptable.
  • The ability to read Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) is an advantage.
  • CMMS Experience: Prior experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) such as SAP or MAXIMO is an advantage
