Job Summary:
As an Investment Oversight Manager at HUB24, you will own and lead the investment oversight program for the platform’s investment menus, with a particular focus on managed funds and managed portfolios.Responsibilities:
Own and lead the investment oversight and governance framework across HUB24’s investment menus
Oversee managed funds and managed portfolios, including performance, risk, and exception management
Engage closely with fund and portfolio managers to identify, monitor, and resolve governance or performance issues
Enhance oversight capabilities across specialist investments, including ESG and private markets
Partner with internal teams to strengthen monitoring, reporting, and operational oversight
Leverage data, technology, and emerging tools to uplift best‑practice investment governance
Act as a thought leader in investment oversight and governance, actively contributing insights and best‑practice thinking
Collaborate closely with the investment team to share market insights, fund manager observations, and investment themes
Engage proactively with internal and external stakeholders, including the HUB24 Super Trustee, on investment oversight and governance matters
Requirements:
Minimum 10 years’ experience in financial services, with exposure to superannuation/IDPS, managed funds, and managed accounts
Extensive experience in investment research across managed funds and managed portfolios
Strong understanding of portfolio construction, including SAA/DAA/TAA, manager selection, and due‑diligence processes
Proven experience working with asset consultants, fund managers, and investment research houses
Solid knowledge of investment platforms
Understanding of how data and technology solutions (including third‑party providers) can support effective investment governance and oversight
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders
