Job Description

The National Bank of Indianapolis is seeking a Vice President and Private Banker to develop and manage high-value client relationships while driving portfolio growth and delivering exceptional service. This role blends business development, credit expertise, and relationship management serving as a trusted advisor to clients while partnering across the Bank to provide tailored financial solutions. Key Responsibilities Develop new client relationships and expand an existing Private Banking portfolio Structure and manage lending solutions, including home equity lines, personal loans, and credit facilities Oversee portfolio credit quality, including risk management, financial reporting, and exception resolution Partner with internal teams to deliver integrated banking and wealth solutions Supervise and coach a Client Support Manager Drive client engagement through regular contact, events, and community involvement Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required 3+ years of lending experience and 3+ years of business development success Strong knowledge of credit structuring, pricing, and banking regulations Proven ability to build and grow client relationships Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills Active involvement in community or professional organizations
