Job Description
Role Focus:
- Recruiting, marketing, and outreach to identify, attract, and enroll diverse candidates for service, involving tasks like developing recruitment strategies, conducting outreach at community events and schools, cultivating relationships with campus partners, managing candidate pipelines, and tracking recruitment metrics to meet program goals
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills to ensure a strong pool of qualified applicants who align with the program's mission and service goals.
Additional Duties:
- Develop and implement strategic recruitment plans and marketing campaigns to attract qualified members.
- Conduct market research to identify effective recruitment channels.
- Collaborate with program staff to determine recruitment needs and adjust strategies as needed.
- Coordinate and conduct presentations at colleges, job fairs, and community events.
- Utilize social media, email marketing, and other digital platforms to raise awareness.
- Build and maintain partnerships with educational institutions and community organizations.
- Develop and manage a pipeline of prospective candidates through targeted communication and outreach.
- Conduct informational meetings and provide personalized support to potential applicants.
- Serve as a champion for inclusion, ensuring recruitment efforts reach diverse communities.
- Support program staff in reviewing applications and identifying strong-fit candidates.
- Coordinate candidate interviews and provide personalized assistance throughout the application process.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must have a high school diploma or its equivalent.
- Has not enrolled more than four times in an AmeriCorps State or National Direct Program, or more than five one-year terms for VISTA programs or two terms for NCCC programs.
