The Early College Pathways Coordinator will play a pivotal role in expanding the Goodwin University Educational Services, Inc./Goodwin University Magnet School System programs by fostering relationships with school districts across Connecticut. This position requires a strategic and entrepreneurial mindset and a strong educational program development, marketing, and partnership management background. The ideal candidate will be responsible for consulting with school districts to understand their needs and aligning them with our offerings to support the educational ecosystem.

This is an 11Month position/Salary $85,000


Essential Job Functions/Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategies to promote early college pathways in schools.
  2. Serve as the primary liaison between GUES resources and schools, providing consultation on program integration and curriculum development.
  3. Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities and potential partnerships.
  4. Collaborate with academic departments to ensure program offerings meet the highest educational standards and align with district requirements.
  5. Organize and lead informational sessions, workshops, and presentations for district administrators and educators.
  6. Support the management of the enrollment process for districts, including application review, student selection, and orientation.
  7. Provide high-level support and guidance to enrolled students and participating school districts.
  8. Monitor and report on program performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  9. Performs similar or related work as required, directed, or as the situation dictates.


Qualifications: (This is a non-certified position) 

  1. Bachelor’s degree in education, business administration, or related field; Masters preferred.
  2. Minimum of five years of experience in educational program management or business development.
  3. Minimum of five years of experience in concurrent or early college
  4. Strong understanding of the K-12 education system and early college initiatives.
  5. Ability to innovate novel and effective systems of operation.
  6. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  7. Proven ability to build, negotiate, and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
  8. Ability to travel as needed to meet with school district representatives and attend relevant conferences.
  9. Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends, as needed
  10. Experience working in a diverse and multicultural environment.
  11. Multilingual skills (preferred)
