The Connecticut River Academy (http://www.ctriveracademy.org) is a Sustainability Studies/Early College magnet school operated by Goodwin University on its river campus in East Hartford serving students in grades 6 through 12. We are anticipating an opening for a (1) full time High School Chemistry and Physics Teacher to join our dynamic team of educators for the 2026-2027 school year. An ideal candidate is someone who has an ability to motivate students from diverse backgrounds and interests. The successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills, a strong desire to work with students from urban and suburban settings, and possess an understanding of and appreciation for multicultural education.  Desirable Experience and Training

• Bachelors degree required, Masters degree preferred, and certification in appropriate area of instruction.
• Work experience in meeting the needs of racially, ethnically, socioeconomically and linguistically diverse groups of youth is desirable.
• CSDE Certification Chemistry Teacher: 031 and Physics Teacher: 032
