FLOORHAND

The Floorman is responsible for working the rig floor during drilling operations and performing duties as needed to make rig and operation run smoothly.

Role:

• Work rig floor when operating.
• Keep work areas clean at all times.
• Assist wherever needed around rig.

Responsibilities:

• Personally responsible for own safety and conducting oneself to the standards of Nabors Policies and Procedures
• Work on rig floor when drilling and tripping.
• Always keep work areas clean and make a safe working environment.
• Attend and participate in all safety meeting and drills.
• Be involved in the Smart Program
• Always be aware of your surroundings and pay attention when working tongs or operating air hoists.
• Always use proper lifting techniques when lifting heavy materials or items
• Always wear your Personal Protective Equipment
• Work safely at all times
• Work together as a team
• Keep a good attitude.
• Help as needed to keep rig running efficiently and properly.
• Assist Operator Rep. if asked in whatever duties are needed.
• Report all accidents, incidents, and near misses to direct supervisor.
• If not sure on how to do something properly, ask for help and guidance.
• Always watch out for your fellow crewmembers and correct them if you see them doing something incorrectly.
• Do your best to keep all rig and location clean and organized at all times.
• Do whatever is asked of you to the best of your ability.

Minimum years of Experience:

2 Years of experience in drilling and workover operations or a demonstrated progression of relevant assignments.

Qualifications:

High School or Equivalent and above. Good knowledge of English.
