Student Assistant - Fitness Center - Wylie

Job Purpose: Student Assistants provide a variety of support for the department. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Duties include, but are not limited to - Answering phones, responding to general telephone inquiries, and transferring callers to the appropriate party. Greeting all callers and visitors in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner. Checking student/faculty/staff ID’s. Assist with monitoring the fitness center, multipurpose and locker rooms. Assuring security of the facility. Performs equipment cleaning and basic maintenance under the direction of the center supervisor. Maintains a clean environment including all areas of the center – fitness floor, group exercise rooms, locker rooms, etc. Assist with intramural and student engagement activities as needed. Running errands on assigned campus. Performing other duties as assigned. Maintaining confidentiality and student privacy as required by department policy and procedure. Performing all duties and maintaining all standards in accordance with college policy, procedures and Core Values.
