Job Summary
The primary purpose of your job is to assist with the delivery of patient care in accordance with current applicable Federal, State and Local standards, guidelines, regulations and established procedures as may be directed by the Administrator, to assure the highest degree of quality care and safety be maintained.
Qualifications
EDUCATION · High School diploma or GED required · Must be able to read, write legibly, speak clearly, and understand the English language. · Successful completion of Medical Assistant School/Program.
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED/DESIRED · Medical Assistant experience in an ambulatory setting preferred · A minimum of 6 months employment in an ambulatory physician practice setting in the last 3 years preferred. Experience in Pediatrics is strongly preferred.
LICENSURE AND/OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED/DESIRED · BLS required at time of hire, or must be obtained within 90 days of start date · Must have a current Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) license/Certification.
