Job Description

The Kardex Group is a global leader in dynamic storage, retrieval, and distribution systems. With over 3,000 employees worldwide, we design and deliver logistics solutions that drive efficiency across industries, from manufacturing to retail and administration.

Join us as Aftermarket Sales Manager and take ownership of expanding our service and maintenance contracts across Spain and Portugal.

You will work closely with existing customers to optimize operations, identify new service opportunities, and build long-term partnerships that drive recurring business growth.

Location: Madrid area (1 day/week in office, remaining days on customer sites)

Your tasks

In this role, you will work closely with customers to improve operations and deliver impactful service solutions. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Promote and sell service contract modifications and technical upgrades

  • Prepare quotations for upgrades, parts kits, and relocations in collaboration with Area Managers

  • Advise customers on efficiency improvements and material flow optimization

  • Manage and develop Key Accounts, ensuring satisfaction across all stakeholders

  • Follow the sales process, including CRM updates and timely follow-ups

  • Visit customers to present service offerings and upgrade solutions

  • Report weekly activities and contribute insights to lessons-learned discussions

  • Collaborate with Area Managers, Back Office, and the Commercial Team to maximize customer satisfaction and opportunities

How you’ll work

  • 1 day per week in the office (Madrid area)

  • Remaining days on-site with customers

  • Extensive travel across Spain (70%) and Portugal (30%)

Your profile

  • Experience in a service-oriented B2B environment

  • Basic marketing skills for service sales

  • Strong customer focus and business mindset

  • Methodical, good time management

  • Thrives in environments that value cooperation, knowledge-sharing, and joint problem-solving

  • Willingness to travel extensively

  • Valid driving license

  • English CEFR B2 (Upper Intermediate)

  • Technical bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience

  • Business degree or equivalent experience

  • Knowledge of SPIN Selling, Miller Heiman PSS, or Trusted Advisor (Level 3)

* Mechanical background is an advantage

Tools & Software: Microsoft Office, Internal CRM and service software tools
