Lower Sioux Lodge Lobby Attendant

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Deep clean, shampoo carpets and rotate mattresses.
• Vacuum hallways.
• Maintain vending areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of hotel lobby, pool area and public restrooms.
• Maintain cleanliness of exercise room and arcade.
• Stock linen closets with linens and supplies.
• Remove trash at the end of the day.
• Assist Guest Room and Laundry Attendants as needed.
• Provide guests with requested information and services (i.e. casino information and directions).
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 3 months experience as a Guest Room Attendant.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ATTRIBUTES

• Good customer service skills.
• Able to follow all safety rules and regulations.
• Able to interact with guests, coworkers and management in a courteous and professional manner.
• High standard of cleanliness.

UNIVERSAL REQUIREMENTS

• Sensitivity to various cultures, including Native American cultures.
• Regular attendance and punctuality.
• Able and willing to work any changes in scheduled hours as required.
• Serve as a credit to Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel, and encourage others to do the same.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Mobility throughout the facility.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Able to bend, twist and kneel continuously.
