Location: Remote (Illinois licensure required)
Department: School-Based Services – Illinois
Schedule: Full-Time | Four 10-hour weekday shifts

As a School-Based Clinical Evaluator, you serve as a critical first point of connection for individuals and families seeking mental health services. Through compassionate, comprehensive assessments, you help people feel heard, supported, and guided toward the right level of care.

Your clinical expertise directly informs treatment planning, safety decisions, and access to services across our programs. Compensation

  • Competitive salary based on licensure and experience
  • Salary Range: $68,000–$72,000

Time Off & Schedule

  • 29 days of paid time off
  • Monday–Friday, daytime schedule

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct initial screenings and comprehensive clinical assessments for individuals of all ages
  • Develop provisional diagnoses, treatment recommendations, and referral plans
  • Provide brief therapeutic interventions and safety planning when clinically appropriate
  • Coordinate referrals and follow‑up care to ensure smooth transitions into services
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and community partners
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
  • Participate in crisis response and emergency services as required
  • Stay informed on programs, eligibility criteria, and community resources
  • Engage in peer reviews, team meetings, supervision, and ongoing training
  • Support quality assurance, compliance, and program evaluation efforts
  • Assist with data collection, reporting, and grant-related activities
  • Provide mental health education and community-based outreach as needed
  • Report critical incidents promptly according to organizational policy
  • Pending approval and licensure, provide clinical supervision to trainees

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field

  • Active Illinois licensure appropriate to scope of practice (LCSW or LCPC)
