Schedule: 0.9 FTE; 36 hours/week; day shift (days will vary, but no weekends)
Jefferson Healthcare is looking for a detail-oriented Respiratory Care Coordinator to join our team. The position entails coordinating clinical and educational initiatives for Respiratory Care Services, both inpatient and outpatient. The Coordinator will be tasked with supervising day-to-day patient care and patient case management in accordance with physician instructions and departmental protocols to guarantee the provision of top-notch patient care. Additionally, the position involves creating and executing staff education programs, performing chart audits, monitoring and recording competencies, organizing successful rotations for students, and upholding department accreditation through the fulfillment and upkeep of all standards and competencies.
What you'll need:
- Current Washington State Respiratory Therapist License
- Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy
- BCLS-ACLS Certification
- NRP Certification
- Ten years critical care experience
- Two years pediatric/neonatal experience
- Pulmonary function and EKG experience
- Four years experience as a professional educator and/or clinical supervisor
- BA or BS
