We are looking for a highly skilled Staff Engineer to join our Payins team, which owns the end-to-end payments flow - from pre-transactional to post-transactional stages - across both internal and external applications.
In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and scaling the systems that power our Payins platform. The team is organized around three key areas: Core, Integrations, and End User Experience. You will contribute to building robust public APIs, defining business logic that directly impacts our merchants, integrating with payment providers across multiple countries to unify their capabilities into a seamless experience, and enhancing user-facing solutions such as checkouts and frontend payment experiences.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure our systems are scalable, reliable, and optimized for performance in a complex and high-throughput environment. Your expertise in architecture and Java-based systems will be key to driving technical decisions and enabling the team to deliver high-quality solutions.
This role requires a strong product and systems mindset, as well as the ability to understand the full payment lifecycle and its impact on merchants and end users.
