• Visit with cancer inpatients who may be very ill or at end of life (weekly) 
• Fostering a caring and compassionate relationship with a cancer inpatient who may be at end of life
• Spending time with patients who are alone at the hospital
• Completing the corresponding tracking forms for each patient visited
• Maintaining the weekly 4 hour/week commitment for 1 year required for each Doula
• Actively participating in process groups and/or maintaining journals about Doula experiences
