Ebbsfleet House is located in Ramsgate, in Kent. It offers residential support for five males and females, who or are autistic or have a learning disability. We are in a semi-rural location, off a main road, and surrounded by lovely views and beautiful countryside.

What you'll be doing
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Team Leader to join our team. In this role, you will act as a positive role model, providing effective supervision and guidance to support staff, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care is delivered at all times.
You will play a key role in supervising day-to-day operations, coaching colleagues, leading team meetings, and ensuring the people who use our service are supported to live fulfilling, independent lives.

- Supervise and support the delivery of person-centred support and care
- Provide leadership during shifts, including handovers, role allocation, and effective communication.
- Ensure residents have person-centred plans in place and are supported to participate in meaningful activities.
- Deliver team supervisions and contribute to professional development.
- Administer medication safely and in line with procedures.
- Manage service users’ finances and contribute to budget management in accordance with policy.
- Complete and oversee accurate record-keeping, reporting, and compliance with legislation.
- Monitor and support team performance, addressing immediate operational issues as needed.
- Maintain up-to-date training and knowledge to ensure safe and effective practice.

About You:

- Previous experience as a Support Worker or Senior Support Worker/Team Leader is essential.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to supervise, coach, and motivate others

- Knowledge of care standards, policies, and safeguarding practices.
- Reliable, flexible, and proactive in problem-solving.
- A caring and respectful approach to supporting others.
- Ability to work flexibly and think innovatively.
