ECI is hiring a dynamic, results-driven Sales Director to lead a high-energy sales team! As a Sales Director, you are responsible for driving revenue growth, developing and executing sales strategies, and leading a passionate team of sales professionals. This role requires a strong understanding of market dynamics, a track record of success in B2B sales, and the ability to foster relationships with key clients and partners. The Sales Director will work closely with executive leadership to align sales objectives with the organization’s goals and ensure consistent execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shape Strategy and Drive Results: Developing annual sales plans, forecasting revenue, and analyzing market trends.
- Lead a High-Energy Team: Establishing sales quotas, implementing sales programs, and managing sales staff. Provide tactical and strategic territory, account, and and sales opportunity leadership support. Drive a culture of excellence, creativity, and accountability.
- Build Lasting Customer Relationships: Negotiate deals, understand customer needs, and provide strategic leadership to account executives. Implement account management strategies to minimize churn and achieve high customer satisfaction.
- Know the Market Inside-Out: Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and economic indicators.
- Collaborate to Innovate: Work hand-in-hand with internal teams to deliver value from the first contact to long after the sale.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in managing sales teams and achieving revenue goals, selling to customer needs, motivation for sales, sales planning, building relationships, coaching, managing processes, market knowledge, developing budgets, staffing.
- 5+ years of experience in selling enterprise resource planning (ERP) software. Must have skills to coach and assist reporting to reps in relationship and benefit stream selling to “C” level prospects. Ability to understand business flow and articulate software benefits stream to prove out a return on investment.
- Strong negotiation skills to close deals effectively.
- 10+ years of experience in growing revenue and scaling outside sales teams.
- Effective communication skills to share insights and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience working in matrixed organizational structures.
